Why?

I used to write CV in TeX. This proved to be quite cumbersome to update, as it mixes presentation with data. I wanted something easier - like org files in Emacs. And then export it to look nicely.

My first attempt uses JSON.

Rolling your own

1. Clone this repository,
2. Ensure you have nix and direnv installed and configured,
3. Verify .envrc doesn't contain anything malicious and thendirenv allow,
4. Open resources/experience.org in your favourite editor, which hopefully supports Org files,
5. Run build. This should generate files to target/dist - HTML, JSON & PDF files.
